Edelbrock Performer 350 C.I.D. 310 HP Crate Engines are entry level small-block Chevy crate engines which are intended for use with any street rod, muscle car or truck and will provide added power of over 300 hp on 87-octane fuel. The engines are assembled from 100% brand new components, including 4-bolt main GM short block, Edelbrock Performer heads, Performer hydraulic camshaft, roller rocker arms, Performer Series intake manifold and optional water pump. A 50-State emissions legal package is available for 1980 and earlier GM vehicles. The engines come packaged with Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS 650cfm carburetor for non-emissions applications and Edelbrock Performer Series 600cfm carburetor for the 50-State legal version. The engines are available with a standard cast aluminum finish or a polished finish and water pump style.

Founded in 1938 by Vic Edelbrock Sr., the company was borne out of his desire to increase the performance of his very own 1932 Ford Roadster, designing a new intake manifold that would soon catch the attention of his friends and fellow drivers. From his humble garage, Edelbrock Sr. would soon become one of the most sought-after performance replacement automotive manufacturers in history. With his legacy carried on by his son Vic Jr. and a trusty team of talented mechanics and engineers, Edelbrock soon developed parts for racing that were commercially unavailable due to the sanctions imposed during the war.
