To help alleviate this phenomenon, Rampage developed the Air Scoop, an easy install hood-like component that can be placed on top of your vehicle's top side engine vent.

You can install the Rampage Air Scoop in two different ways, you can have the mouth or opening facing the windshield or facing the front of the vehicle. Having the opening facing towards the windshield, the cool is flipped through air dynamics and sucked in through the Air Scoop. While facing the front, the cool air is pushed through the opening.

Both orientations work and it's a matter of owner preference and aesthetic view. The cool, outside air can help cool down the engine, heater, and air conditioner allowing them to operate more efficiently.

These air scoops do not require any drilling or modification during installation. They are available in either dark smoke acrylic or chrome plastic.
