In 1990, Infiniti – a division of the famous Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan – has introduced a new line of compact executive/entry-level luxury cars that was named “G-Series”. The G-Series was manufactured in four generations. Infiniti G37 was a part of the fourth generation.
G37 was introduced in 2007 as a 2008 model car and was designed as a replacement of Infiniti G35. The first G37 utilized the new Nissan's VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) system. The 2008 G37 was also provided with new, V6 VQ37VHR engine and 5-speed automatic transmission.
Infiniti G37 Sedan was launched in 2009 and was available with Infiniti's innovative seven-speed automatic transmission. This model also came with wider sport brakes and a new sport wheel design. In 2009, a new model – G37 Convertible – was presented. It is based on the V36 FM platform and gives you the opportunity to choose from a 7-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. In 2010 Infiniti G37 was upgraded with some exterior modifications, like a new optional navigation system and a new grill (for sedan model only). Infiniti G37 is certainly an excellent choice, if you seek attractive appearance and highest safety.
