With roots that began in 1938, Edelbrock LLC designs and manufactures high-quality performance replacement components for the automotive aftermarket. The company's story began when founder, Vic Edelbrock Sr. purchased a 1932 Ford Roadster which was the inspiration for the establishment of the first Edelbrock Intake Manifold AKA The Slingshot. With these Flathead Ford Manifolds, Vic consistently dominated competitions with a racing speed of 112mph. Car enthusiasts were very impressed with the racing performance of this manifold that Vic received multiple requests for his designs. This led to the establishment of a machine shop in Hollywood, California and the first catalog release of "Edelbrock Power and Speed Equipment". In 1949, Vic would set up his first purpose-built shop on Jefferson Blvd. Here, he would continuously impress the market with new cylinder head, intake manifold and racing piston designs. Fast forward to today and Edelbrock established six sites in the United States. Their headquarters in Torrance, California includes an R&D, manufacturing, and testing facilities among others. All the core components of Edelbrock are proudly made in the United States. From superchargers to electronic fuel injection products, the company stays up to date with modern technology to produce components that optimize your ride's performance. Before being released to the market, Edelbrock Products undergo demanding assessments to guarantee a reliable and productive solution. When it comes to a superior quality that has consistently set the bar through the years, look no further than the innovations of Edelbrock.
