Product Info

For brake rotors with improved performance minus the noise that is usually associated with slotted rotors, the EBC USR Ultimax Black Dash Series Brake Rotors is the one needed for the job. The rotors feature progressively angled slots to offer quiet brake operations without the excessive air noise, allowing for a noise-free braking experience. The angled slots also help pull in cool air, to help keep brakes cool. The EBC USR Ultimax Black Dash Series Brake Rotors also helps in keeping excess dust and debris out of the brake system to keep pad grip and extend the life of the pad.

Features:

  • High brake performance without the noise
  • Slotted design expels moisture and heat to prevent brake fade
  • Engineered to be structurally sound
  • Stays quiet even under challenging conditions

EBC Brakes is considered as a worldwide leader in manufacturing brake components. Founded in the UK, EBC first offered its aftermarket range of products in Europe in the early 80's then expanded in the USA by the mid-1980s. The company's quality products have allowed it to become known rapidly in the automotive industry, becoming a worldwide leader in the sport, high performance and race brake pads, and disc/rotors.

EBC Brakes also has a wide range of trademark products and parts and has recently launched another material that will also become ground-breaking, the Ultimax 2 brake friction material that's considered Eco-friendly. It's designed to completely eliminate all heavy materials and sulfides. EBC prides itself in producing the highest quality product to never compromise on safety. While others opt for manufacturing to lower costs, EBC continues to spend millions on researching, developing, and manufacturing high quality, trusted, eco-friendly products. In the automotive world, there's one brake name that stands head and shoulders above the rest: EBC.

No warranty is offered for brake vibration suffered due to uneven rotor thickness wear after incorrect installation of brake rotors. It is commonly known in the brake rotor business that accurate mounting and checking of runout on brake rotors is paramount at installation and in spite of necessary warnings many mechanics still see fit to ignore this warning and make no effort whatsoever to check rotor runout. This leads to brake vibration in the 3-5,000 miles lifetime period and is not a warrantable condition. The solution for vibration at this stage is to have the rotors turned or replaced and to thoroughly clean the mounting flange on the vehicle and carefully check for runout before returning the vehicle to service use.
