The EBC Bluestuff Brake Pad is designed to be used for aggressive street driving and for certain race tracks except in EU markets where R90 is required. It features a high-friction intermediate grade material that can boost the stopping strength of a vehicle. It also provides a better initial brake bite to improve the stopping power. The EBC Bluestuff Brake Pads can also handle heavy-duty use as it's formulated to fight fade, even under heavy braking. It is made of a harder and longer-lasting material that will require proper bedding. The NDX pad material is engineered to prevent the pad and the plate from separating ensuring your brake will be there when you need it.
EBC's Bluestuff pad has a good wear lifetime and can be counted on for 20,000 miles and up before having to be replaced, even with aggressive driving. For track use, it's a good idea to always inspect the pads after every 30 laps or so to ensure there's still more than 3mm of material to avoid fade. Bottom line, if you're a track driver or just looking for something to suit your aggressive driving style, Bluestuff is what you want.

EBC Brakes is considered as a worldwide leader in manufacturing brake components. Founded in the UK, EBC first offered its aftermarket range of products in Europe in the early 80's then expanded in the USA by the mid-1980s. The company's quality products have allowed it to become known rapidly in the automotive industry, becoming a worldwide leader in the sport, high performance and race brake pads, and disc/rotors.
EBC Brakes also has a wide range of trademark products and parts and has recently launched another material that will also become ground-breaking, the Ultimax 2 brake friction material that's considered Eco-friendly. It's designed to completely eliminate all heavy materials and sulfides. EBC prides itself in producing the highest quality product to never compromise on safety. While others opt for manufacturing to lower costs, EBC continues to spend millions on researching, developing, and manufacturing high quality, trusted, eco-friendly products. In the automotive world, there's one brake name that stands head and shoulders above the rest: EBC.
Automotive Disc Brake Pads. The EBC Brakes warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. Warranty is for replacement of similar product or refund of purchase value only excluding all labour and ancillary charges such as vehicle towing, fitting, inconvenience, purchasing of other manufacturers products and is good for a period of twelve months from date of purchase or 10,000 miles of highway use. Proof of mileage will be required. Warranty is invalid if product is used for taxi/hire car, racing, rally, drifting, trackday experience driving, or any other form of competition. There is absolutely no warranty on any EBC product for race use. Warranty does not cover brake noise or normal wear and tear. Some brake pad systems cause pads to wear faster than others. Drivers/users must assess the performance and durability of EBC Brakes products themselves if any EBC product is to be used in racing.
Automotive Disc Brake Rotors. Warranty is for replacement of similar product or refund of purchase value only excluding all labour and ancillary charges such as vehicle towing, fitting, inconvenience, purchasing of other manufacturers products and is valid for a period of six months from date of purchase or 10,000 miles of highway use. Warranty is invalid if product is used for racing, rally, drifting, trackday experience driving, or any other form of competition. There is absolutely no warranty on any EBC product for race use. Drivers/users must assess the performance and durability of EBC Brakes products themselves if any EBC product is to be used in racing.
No warranty is offered for brake vibration suffered due to uneven rotor thickness wear after incorrect installation of brake rotors. It is commonly known in the brake rotor business that accurate mounting and checking of runout on brake rotors is paramount at installation and in spite of necessary warnings many mechanics still see fit to ignore this warning and make no effort whatsoever to check rotor runout. This leads to brake vibration in the 3-5,000 miles lifetime period and is not a warrantable condition. The solution for vibration at this stage is to have the rotors turned or replaced and to thoroughly clean the mounting flange on the vehicle and carefully check for runout before returning the vehicle to service use.
