DODGE CALIBER Parts

In 2007, Dodge has introduced a new series of compact cars, called "Caliber". The Caliber came to replace the Neon model and was the smallest and the least expensive vehicle in Dodge’s lineup until 2012. Dodge Caliber features 103.7 inches wheelbase and 5-door hatchback body style. The Caliber is based on the Chrysler PM/MK platform and is equipped with World I4 gasoline engine. A 2.4 L World I4 TURBO gasoline and a 2.0 L VW I4 TURBO diesel engines are available as well.

Dodge released four models of the Caliber: SE, SXT, R/T, and SRT4. The SE is a base model. It comes with front-wheel drive, 1.8 L 148 hp (110 kW) World I4 engine, and Magna Drivetrain T355 5-speed manual transmission. SXT is a higher lever and includes some additional features, such as: air conditioning, chrome grille, remote keyless entry, as well as power windows, locks, and mirrors. The R/T model is provided with a 2.4 L 172 hp (128 kW) version of the World engine and CVT2 transmission. This model is also available with a special "AutoStick" feature as well as optional chrome wheels and all-wheel-drive. The SRT4 was equipped with 2.4 L DOHC 16V turbocharged I4 engine with dual variable valve timing (DVVT). However, all Caliber models were discontinued and replaced by Dodge Dart in 2012.
