With a cast steel main body and black carbide powder coating, this fifth wheel hitch is incredibly resilient. It features sturdy interlocking jaws to completely wrap the kingpin, ensuring stability and minimizing noise. A cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts effectively decreases noise and shock loads. Through a fast one-pin removal system, installation and removal from the truck bed are easy and quick. To accommodate different truck beds, this hitch offers three height adjustment positions.
The extra-wide head opening appropriately increases the coupling area for the trailer while its lockable, single-throw handle automatically resets to the ready-to-couple position after uncoupling. Adding to that, it integrates a coupling indicator that is visible from the truck cab to display the status of the connection, efficiently eliminating the need to check multiple times when coupling. What's more, a polyethylene lube plate reliably takes care of dirty grease deposits. The A30 Fifth Wheel Hitch Head would need the CURT 5th wheel roller or legs to be properly installed.
