These pads are made from specially engineered cutting-edge ceramic compounds. These low noise and low dust brake pads are 100% asbestos-free making it environmentally safe. Utilizing OEM molding processes makes Centric Posi Quiet Semi-Metallic Brake Pads compatible with a wide range of vehicles. The pad has a consistent friction surface which gives it a higher level of performance and allows the pad to wear evenly for longer service life.
Centric Brake Pads undergo a post-production scorching phase wherein the pad's surface is super-heated. This simulates the heat produced during a break-in process and also removes any impurities such as excess bonding agents. These pads also feature precision shaved backing plates which reduce vibration and are fitted with high-quality shims that further reduce braking noise.
