Banks Power SmartLock Transmission Brakes are required to complete the installation process on specific vehicles with automatic transmission. The brakes' electronic braking device will automatically activate when the conditions call for braking. SmartLock will lock your torque converter and raises transmission-line pressure at the same time to ensure smooth reduction of vehicle speed. This will not only safeguard you, but will save wear-and-tear on your service brakes, prolongs automatic transmission durability and eliminating excessive clutch slippage.
Important Note: Unit is required to use Banks Brake.
