The MXP Series by Airaid features a roto-molded polyethylene airbox that seals against the hood of your vehicle forming an enclosure. This provides better performance to your vehicle since it only allows the coolest outside air inside the box and enables the air filter to channel large quantities of cool, dense air to the engine. Airaid’s SynthaMax filter are 100% synthetic with an inner filter media consisting of two distinct layers which results to unrivaled filtering efficiency. Best of all, servicing these filters are easy because they are oil-free! Simply wash the filter in a mild household detergent and rinse. It’s really as simple as that!
